Community Health Assessment

The Greenup County Health Department recently completed a Community Health Assessment (CHA), a process that helps us to understand the overall health and well-being of individuals who live, work, and play in our county. By collecting data (health outcomes, social factors, community resources) and listening to community voices through surveys and in-person community forums, we identified which health issues most affect our residents and where we can make the biggest difference. This effort was made possible through strong collaboration with community partners, who worked together to align resources, share data, and support the assessment process. The findings from this assessment guide how we plan programs, form partnerships, and make decisions ensuring that our efforts truly reflect the needs and goals of our community.
